The Sentier des Caps de Charlevoix network offers unique views of the St. Lawrence River, from the Montmagny archipelago to Ile-aux-Coudres while providing access to exceptional forest ecosystems including ancient forests nearly 400 years old.

Accessible for a daily hike or a few days, this network consists of nearly 70 km of hiking trails (or snowshoeing), 35 km of cross-country skiing trails, 9 rustic huts, 31 camping platforms and almost 20 viewpoints.

For the long-distance hiker, the main trail runs along the capes on the north shore of the St. Lawrence River, between Cap Tourmente and Petite-Rivière-Saint-François. Our network is divided into two major interrelated sectors:

• Sector of Saint-Tite-des-Caps<
• Charlevoix sector (Massif)

Snowshoeing

In winter, the forest is magical and the river shines with all its brilliance! The beauty of the landscapes offered by the Sentier des Caps de Charlevoix in winter has won the hearts of hikers, whether they are Quebecers, Ontarians, Americans or French!

It should be noted that snowshoeing is practiced on trails that are not mechanically maintained. Thus, following a snowfall, it is the first snowshoers to pass that have the pleasure of opening the slopes.

Dogs can accompany hikers for a day hike and on the condition that they are on a leash.
